Very first version of LarKC running

Posted September 12th, 2008

This week triples were shooting through a very first version of the Large Knowledge Collider! The set-up consists of a testing that was using the current plugin API’s to build a real “pipeline”:

  • it starts with a SPARQL query, then
  • it asks Sindice which RDF stores on the Web might be able to answer this query (IDENTIFY step), then
  • it does a SELECT step (select either all or only the first of those RDF stores), then
  • it uploads triples from the selected stores into Jena, and uses it as a REASONING plugin to get an answer to the original query.
